Within the financial and insurance services category and by changing the brand’s appeal to a growing lower LSM customer base, Metropolitan entered the formal retail landscape with a Branch of the Future concept. The layout and design aesthetics are customer centric and are driven by an understood brand experience centered around client service and open dialogue approach.
The translation of the brand's angular style and colour journey into the environment allows for a vibrant, multi-facetted and dynamic design that is fresh and enticing whilst also prioritising guidance of the customer on their instore journey.
Materials specified are standard catalogue sourced and readily available. The design is extremely durable for high traffic visiting these branches which are deployed both within population-dense, urban city centres and outlying, rural nodes. It is incredibly important that the design can fit in to a variety of types of sites in varying conditions, with existing poor as-built conditions being a challenge. The recessive charcoal ceiling boards assist in masking existing unsightly ceiling conditions and dirt. The panelled and layered nature of the wall cladding, bulkheads and modular wall bracket systems provide a consistent and unwavering facade upon which the brand can communicate to its customers.
