Vodacom wished to relook their Point of Presence at OR Tambo International Airport, Johannesburg. Consideration had to be taken regarding their brand presence and expression. The brief was to develop a hub-like space where customers can connect, download and recharge. It was a simple seated solution focused on comfort, brand inspiration and personality. Due to the very visible positioning, key iconography was positioned to ensure full exposure and recognition.
Basic functionality and wireless technology was installed and allowed customers to connect with the Brand as well as executed basic mobile/data functions. The design requirements was simple, cost effective and pre-assembled to ensure a quick and easy on-site installation.

The iconic red triangle, used throughout Vodacom's brand language, provided the ideal inspiration for the design elements of the kiosk. Achieving this visual language in three-dimensional space was key to marrying the structure to Vodacom's already established and recognised brand.
